Course objective:
The Course Selected Legal Issues of Business Relations aims to create a platform familiarizing students with the basic legal issues related to business activities and position of the subject as an entrepreneur. The course is an initial information platform for further studies of selected legal issues in follow-up specialized legal courses. An important part of the course is devoted to cross-border legal relationships in terms of solving their legal regime and determining the place of litigation. Last but not least the basic issues of legal liability is presented.
 
Course methods: The course is taught through lectures and seminars. List of individual lecture topics - see Course contents. The topics covered during the lectures will be practiced during exercise by using simplified practical legal issues.

9.Responsibility of the Statutory Representatives of Legal Persons and Entrepreneurs (allowance 2/1)

Learning outcomes and competences:
After completing the course, student will be able to:
 
-Will be able to identify the basic legal issues connected with the realisation of legal relationships.
-Will be able to identify the legal regulation of the basic legal issues connected with the realisation of legal relationships
-Will be able to understand to basic concepts of legal liability both in private and public sectors
-Will be able to understand to regulation of civil and commercial matters with cross-border element

Course completion:
Successful completion of the course assumes the following:
- active participation in seminars (preparation for individual topics)
