Course objective:
Upon successful completion of the subjects, students will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding human resources management ethics, business ethics and CSR. Special focus is placed on creation of company code of ethic and promotion of ethical conduct in business sphere and society as a whole.
 
Course methods: Lecture, discussion, presentation, teamwork.
 
Course content:
1.Bases of ethical attitudes. Ethics as part of management and business. The development of ethics in management and personnel management in recent years and in the future. (allowance 1/1)
2.The manager and ethics. The personalist and ethics. Factors that influence ethical conduct in a business environment. Ethics and the prosperity of the enterprise. (allowance 1/1)
3.Ethical decision-making process and the role of ethical principles in decision-making. (allowance 1/1)
4.Obstacles to the application of ethics to management and personnel management. (allowance 1/1)
5.Ethical aspects of management. Ethical dimensions of the management of enterprises. Management of enterprises in the context of globalization. Social responsibility of business - dealings with interested groups (stakeholders). (allowance 1/1)
6.Corporate culture, ethical behavior and code of ethics. (allowance 1/1)
7.To promote and support ethical behavior. (allowance 1/1)
8.Lobbying as a communication tool of the enterprise with the representatives of the public administration and the political sphere. (allowance 1/1)
9.Ethical attitudes and practices in the information communication. (allowance 1/1)
10.Ethics of media information. (allowance 1/1)
11.Ethics in work and communication on the internet. (allowance 1/1)
12.Benefits of ethics in management and human resources management and a summary of the findings. (allowance 1/1)

-Will define and explain the basic concepts of ethics in personnel management
