Course objective:
The subject focuses on understanding to basic parameters of criminal law and its connection with civil law. The subject elaborates wide spectrum of criminal branch of Czech law, it characterizes criminal liability in context with criminal law, with special emphasis on management practises.
The subject brings practical information useful not only for a professional career, but also for an everyday life.
The output of the course is obtaining of basic knowledge of criminal law and deeper knowledge of offenses conected to the economics and the business.
The subject also focuses on new types of criminal activities conected to the management practises.
 
Course methods: Combination of theoretic education and exercises solving specific problems and questions of offenses conected to management practise.
 
Course content:
1.Criminal law (allowance 0/7)
 
a.Responsibility and its definition in civil and public law.
b.Illegality and circumstances which eliminates illegality.
c.Criminal responsibility, offenses.
d.Introduce in procedural law in context of criminal law.
e.Evidence
f.The issue of position of subjects in criminal law proceedings.

2.Economic crime (allowance 0/7)
 
a.Special part of the criminal law, its demarcation, content and function.
b.The relationship of criminal and business law.
c.Offenses against public order.
d.Offenses against business law.
e.Tax and monetary offenses.
f.New types of criminal behaviour.

Course completion:
For all forms of study:
Processing selected and approved by guarantor case studies or semester work according to the course content and worksheets listed in the document server;
If the essay received a failing grade, according to test content and syllabus of the course in the range of 50 points with a success rate of not less than 60%, or an oral examination of the content of topics to be taught.
Course supervisor reserves the right to change with the knowledge and consent of the student content and method of evaluation of the course.
