Course objective:
Get familiar with methods for planning and management of IS projects and their specifics. Obtain theoretical and practical knowledge for successful project implementation. Become familiar with role of IS projects in the organization as a tool for managing business changes.
Present basic practical aspects of project management from the perspective of project manager. Clarify and demonstrate how to manage projects on practical examples. Define forms and methods for evaluation of particular project phases and for final project evaluation from all aspects and criteria, including evaluation of performance of the project manager.
