Course objective:
Protection of business ownership course follows the Introduction to Law courses. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the general principles of legal aspects of enterprising in economic and political context. Core of the course is focused on the very principle of ownership, its legal protection and role in democratic society of free market. Special attention is paid to the questions of public protection of ownership including the principles of legal succession and protection of continuity and stability of enterprising environment. Above aspect are also examined in the specialized fields of real estate law, intellectual property law and related subjects. Special focus of the course is targeted on the efficiency and enforceability of the legal protection of enterprising environment.



 
Course methods: A combination of theoretical teaching with practical solutions from the areas of national
and international economic practice.

3.Legal limitations of ownership rights (allowance 2/0)
4.Rules of expropriation (allowance 2/0)
5.Judiciary and extrajudiciary protection of ownership (allowance 2/0)
6.Co – ownership rules (allowance 2/0)
7.Registred Capital of corporations (allowance 2/0)
8.Business Capital of Corporations (allowance 2/0)
9.Family businesses, Joint property of spouses (allowance 2/0)
10.Real estate ownership protection (allowance 2/0)
11.Rules of Condominium (allowance 2/0)
12.Rules of Inheritance ; Corporate succesion (allowance 2/0)
 
Learning outcomes and competences:
After completing the course, student:
 
-Will analyze the risks and suggest the appropriate form of its solution
-Will apply principles of legal regulation to practical execution of contracts
-Will clarify specific principles of the ownership protection in business
-Will describe fundamental principles both of private a and public law protection of ownership
