Course objective:
The main objective of the course is to improve students understanding of fundamental concepts of strategic management relevant when the foreign companies enter the Asian markets or when the Asian companies enter the foreign markets.
 
Course methods: The teaching method of the course will rely mainly on the use of case studies. The case studies will be carefully chosen to illustrate the strategic dilemmas faced by the companies that entered various Asian markets (and vice versa).

Course completion:
1. Examination: There will be a final examination (multiple choice test) on the last session of the course worth 80% of the total grade. Students will be required to answer the test questions employing insights and concepts that were presented during the sessions and discussed in the PPT slides.

2. In class activity: 20% of total evaluation will be attributed according to the activity of student in the class especially in what regards the discussion of distributed cases.
