The aim is to get students acquainted with basic statistical tools for quality control.
|Lectures and seminars alternating once in a fortnight. A project on assigned data with the theme of statistical process control and process capability analysis. In the full-time form a midterm test in the last seminar, in the part-time form in the 2.block.

Learning outcomes and competences:
After completing the course, student:
Will be able to explain the basis of statistical process control, choose a suitable type of the Shewhart chart for a given case, apply the chart and interpret the results
|Will be able to express the quality level of a process by means of capability indices|
